THE
COMPANY
Structural Design Partnership was formed in 1974 to offer a comprehensive
structural and civil engineering consultancy to Architects, Developers and
Local Authorities.
The practice was incorporated in 1991, and the trading name abbreviated in
1998. The Company is now well established with a wide range of clients and
extensive in-house expertise in all aspects of structural and civil engineering
design.
All projects are controlled and administered by a director who provides active
support to the project and a valuable link between the client and the design
team. Work is allocated within the Company to senior engineers and technicians
who control schemes on a day by day basis. Draughtsmen are used as further
support to design teams where necessary.
Our surveying department ( SDP Surveys ), also established in 1974, is also
based at our head office in St Albans.
In 1999 a southern office was opened in Christchurch, to service clients in the southern region.
